Bat Cave Canyon

An easy 10 minute walk from the carpark takes you to the canyon start. Jump 4m into crystal clear water. Climb down rocks, then take a water slide. First abseil is to a cave behind a thundering waterfall. Incredible. Wade or swim across the pool and trek for 5 minutes to the next abseil. Deep, dark and narrow, the next section is home to large bats. More abseiling, then scrample through a thumping waterfall, before you reach a small dam. A few stairs, then a 200m walk to base camp.
